Terms & Conditions
TRAVEL FEE
Tent it Teepee will deliver &/or set up etc, free of charge within a 10km radius of our location in Flagstaff Hill 5159. If you are outside of this zone, we will provide a reasonable delivery fee.
DO IT YOURSELF DIY
Should you choose DIY, return of items after an event is the responsibility of the hirer. However should you not have the ability or suitable size car with enclosed compartment eg 4WD or car with flip down seats, we can arrange to have the hired items collected from the party location.
In the event Tent It Teepee is collecting hired items, they must be repackaged as they were delivered & ready inside your front door before the allocated time.
A fee will apply if Tent It Teepee are required to collect hired items.
Please note: If it is discovered that any items have been missed & not returned after hire. It is the responsibility of the hirer to organise their return to 5159.

Transport Measurements
We use foam mattresses which are packaged two per bag. Each mattress is folded in half & a bag of two mattresses measures approximately 75cmx75cmx30cm.
Traditional teepees (wigwam type) measure 1.8m long & require a car with pull down seats or clear passage into a boot.
SET UP DIMENSIONS
Each Teepee & Mattress requires an area of 1m X 1.8m each. Six teepees can fit in an area of approximately 3m x 4m2
Generally an average sized lounge or family / rumpus room, cleared of furniture eg: lounge suite pushed to one side is enough.
It is the hirers responsibility to ensure there is enough space to fit their chosen package & teepee numbers. A spacing chart with measurements can be found on the bottom of this page.
No refunds will be entered into if space requirements have been miscalculated for either DIY or set up & your Teepees, mattresses etc don't fit.
Please note ALL teepee packages MUST be set up inside without exception. The area must be thoroughly clean & free of dust, dirt etc prior to setting up.
BOOKING, DEPOSIT & CANCELLATIONS
Please book via our online "Enquire" form. We will reply to inform of our availability & cost. If agreeable you'll be issued with an invoice containing cost & payment instructions. Please note: A quote / invoice requires confirmation of a party booking within 24 hours.
Payment is COD on delivery, collection or set up. EFT can be arranged on request & requires full payment 7 days before party date
Public holiday weekends may incur an additional surcharge. For cancellation conditions please see "FULL TERMS AND CONDITION" below.
SECURITY BOND AMOUNT & PURPOSE
A security bond is required with all hire packages & is calculated per teepee & any additional hire items eg: pamper package etc.
The security bond is refunded within (7) days after your party, subject to all items being in the exact same condition with which they were hired.
In the event of any damage, breakages or excessive soiling (which can not be successfully laundered), all or a portion of the bond will be retained. This will be used to either repair if possible, or replace the damaged item if necessary. In the event of excessive soiling/staining a $25 cleaning fee may also apply.
In any such case you will be fully informed & I will endeavour to be as fair as possible.
CARE & SAFETY
While I understand accidents can happen these can be easily prevented by following these simple guidelines.
Teepees must be strictly set up inside with absolutely no exception. THEY ARE NOT FOR OUT DOOR USE INCLUDING UNDER VERANDAHS etc. All hired items must remain inside at all times. Evidence of use outside or excessive soiling, stains etc will void full bond refund.
Please do not stand, jump or lean on any part of the Teepee or decorations.
NO open flame & zero smoking around teepees at all times.
Please REMOVE shoes before entering the party area.
No food, drink or pets in or around teepees for the duration of hire.
No items that will stain eg: glow sticks, makeup, pens, textas, markers, cheese balls, nail polish etc.
As specified via manufacturers product warnings, it is advised that they are not suitable for children 3 years and under, so young children must be supervised around the teepees at all times. This is also important because of the use of small battery operated items as decoration.
Lights & bunting are not to be pulled, untied or used in any manner other than intended.
Mattresses must remain under the teepees.
Please do not remove any cushions, blankets or decorations from the room they are set up in.
It is the responsibility of the customer to look after all items supplied by Tent-it Teepee Party Hire.

FULL TERMS & CONDITIONS
TENT-IT TEEPEE PARTY HIRE – USER AGREEMENT TERMS AND CONDITIONS
Definition ‘THE BUSINESS” means Tent-it Teepee Party, ABN 66930386901. The person who books the equipment warrants that they are either the Hirer or have the authority of the Hirer to book the equipment. “THE EQUIPMENT” means goods hired as they appear on the booking agreement. “THE AGREEMENT” means the Booking Form/Hire Agreement between the Business and the Hirer of the equipment.
Agreement - The Hirer, by placing a booking agrees that they accept the conditions of the hiring agreement. The business will retain the booking form and issue a quote or invoice.
If the agreement is not signed by the Hirer this does NOT forfeit the agreement.
Hiring Charges - Unless prior arrangements are made, hiring charges are overnight. If DIY equipment is not returned during the agreed times, Tent-It Teepee Party Hire reserves the right to charge the Hirer for extra time.
Payment - Payment is Cash On Delivery (COD) unless EFT has been requested by hirer.
The Business reserves the right to withhold delivery if full payment is not received on agreed date subject to payment terms & conditions.
An extra charge may apply if the Hirer needs to reschedule the delivery or collection or if the BUSINESS is required to return to the premises once a delivery has taken place.
Cancellation - Hirer is required to provided at least 7 days notice from 'party date' via email for cancellations.
Cancellation / reduction of teepee numbers occurring within 24 hours of a party date, will not be entitled to a reduction in hire fees. More than 24 hours but less than 7 days notice on reduced teepees numbers will result in a refund total of $5.00 per cancelled teepee only with a minimum of no less than 5 teepees required. Eg with an 8 teepee booking, 3 teepees will be refunded at $5.00 each totalling $15.00 etc.
Delivery & Return of Party Packages- Travel for delivery exceeding 10kms will incur a delivery charge, as does collection by the Business. These charges are quoted and are an extra cost on top of the hiring fee. Quoted charges are for the delivery location. Return is the responsibility of the hirer to a location in Flagstaff Hill 5159, which will be given on acceptance of a party booking. Please be aware mattresses are quite large & require a reasonable sized car eg: 4WD, or the ability to pull down seats. An open back ute is strictly prohibited as items must be protected from weather & damaging elements.
Should you require collection, this can be arranged for an additional cost.
A convenient time for delivery will be discussed & confirmed prior to your party date.
Receipt of Delivery for Party Packages- The Hirer is responsible for being present to accept delivery of the equipment. The Hirer is responsible for any loss or damage incurred if He / She arranges equipment to be delivered without being present or without an authorized agent present i.e. The Hirer is responsible for losses or damage resulting from equipment being delivered to an unattended premises or location as requested by the Hirer.

Positioning/Setting up of Equipment. - All teepees, mattresses & 'EQUIPMENT' is to be set up inside ONLY. The Hirer is responsible for providing a suitable area inside. The floor areas must be clean from dirt and dust before setup commences.
Use of Equipment - The Hirer is responsible for checking the quantity of hired items against the invoice/agreement upon set up and should immediately advise of any discrepancy or damage discovered.
Advice after the function will not be considered as advice and the Hirer will be liable for any loss or damage to the Equipment. Damage to Hire equipment during use is the responsibility of the Hirer and the Hirer agrees that repair or replacement charges for damaged equipment will be actioned after the hire date. If at any time during the hire period the Hirer considers the equipment to be faulty, it is the Hirers responsibility to contact Tent-It Teepee Party Hire by telephone to report the problem. The Business reserves the right to repair or replace the faulty equipment as soon as practicable during the hire period to the reasonable satisfaction of the Hirer. The Hirer should not attempt to repair the Equipment without prior consent of the Business. Call out charges, relative to the time of day, will be due and payable if the equipment is found not to be faulty as claimed by the Hirer. The business will not be liable for any loss, damage or expenditure incurred by the Hirer due to faulty Equipment for any reason whatsoever.
Cleaning. Linen does not need to be washed by Hirer. If they are returned stained or excessively dirty a $25 cleaning fee may apply. All hire equipment; linen and bed sheets need to be returned dry.
Insurance. Insurance is the Hirer’s responsibility during the hire period. The Hirer is responsible for the security of the equipment at all times during the Hire period. Any lost, broken, damaged or destroyed equipment will be charged to the Hirer at full replacement value.
Vouchers / Promotions / Discounts
Not transferable or redeemable for cash. Declaration of a discount voucher or promotion must be made at first contact on Tent It Teepee Party Hires booking form under "Discount voucher/Promotional codes". Failure to do so will render any discount/promotion null and void.
Strictly only valid for parties etc booked before or on expiry date. Under no circumstances will dates be extended.
Liability to Third Parties. The Business will not be liable for any claim for personal injury, death, loss or damage to the property however caused unless it is proved that such injury was caused by faulty material, workmanship or negligence on the part of the Business. The Businesses decision is final in all matters relating to these Terms & Conditions of Hire.
